Zep Members Touring with ORLANDO Singer?
Things could be heating up for a Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Jason Bonham tour WITH another singer. But who???
The lead singer of Orlando band Alter Bridge Myles R. Kennedy! This rumor comes to you courtesy of Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider. Ooooooh, is HE gonna be in trouble!

Below, you will find a clip of Dee spreadin the rumor, the rest of the story AND videos of Myles R. Kennedy on tour with Alter Bridge performing Zep. Please click the comment tabs and tell us what you think about all of it!
Apparently, Dee shares the same manager as Robert Plant (but will he STILL after this gets out ; )
Here's Dee Snider spreadin' it!
The story: Apparently, MuchMoreMusic was interviewing Snider when he revealed that Led Zeppelin members Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonhman have tapped Alter Bridge singer Myles R. Kennedy to sing with them on the road tour if Plant refuses to join them for the much-rumored Zeppelin reunion tour.
We just heard a few days ago that Plant says he will NOT join them - on tour or in the studio - but Dee says maybe, just maybe, when he hears there is another great singer ready to do the job, he will have a change of heart? Now maybe that whole "ultimatum" business makes sense. They were serious!
Geez, now I kinda feel bad for Plant. He's gettin' bullied!
Says Snider: "They're saying [to Robert], 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go, here's a gazillion dollars on the table," Snider told MuchMoreMusic. "If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid. And he can sing the s**t out of Zeppelin.' And they're gonna, like, hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in, before having the lead singer of Alter Bridge out with John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Jason Bonham."
Plant himself was quoted as saying, "It's both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward. I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects."
Yes, they are keen alright...
Page, Jones and Bonham have reportedly been rehearsing with a series of other vocalists, including Kennedy. There has been no official announcement as to whether the band is planning to tour or record together without Plant's involvement.

What others are saying
- Led Zeppelin to Tour in 2009maybe this will make Plant re-consider his NO -
http://www.musicnewsnet.com/2008/10/plant-to-be-rep.html - Replacing RPWhy don't they ask Randy Jackson of Zebra. Anybody who is from Long Island knows they used to do Zep better than Zep.
- YupAgreed.
- Not so excited anymoreOkay the novelty of the idea is already wearing off. I'm feeling like Plant is being pushed to get onstage and wail in a way he is not capable of anymore - or else! Flipside...Page and Jones should be able to do what they still have the burning desire to do...I just really hope they will take the high road and avoid any kind of mention of "Led Zeppelin," come up with a new name and promote it as a new band.
- :SDee Snider? Mkay. He's cool, not Plant, but cool.
