Buy Guitar Hero 5, Get GH: Van Halen Free and Early!
If you were planning to buy Guitar Hero 5 anyway, this deal is for you. You'll save $60 by getting the Van Halen game free AND you'll get it a couple of months early in plenty of time for the holidays...
Activision has a very cool offer that allows you to pre-order Guitar Hero 5 (due out in September) and get the Guitar Hero: Van Halen game free - and earlier than it's official December 22 release.
The official site says "please allow up to 6 weeks for delivery" so if you hurry, you should have both games in enough time to receive them, wrap them and give them for the holidays (or keep them for yourself ya Grinch ; )
Otherwise, being that it comes out only 3 days before Christmas, I have visions of running to Best Buy and finding there are none on the shelves.
Aha! THAT'S why they made the official release date so early! They figure many of us will be willing to go ahead and buy GH5 to make sure we get the Van Halen game in time...
