Them Crooked Vultures is here.

Move over Chickenfoot. There's a new Supergroup in the world of rock. Them Crooked Vultures is Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones, Foo Fighters/Nirvana guitarist/frontman/drummer Dave Grohl and Queens of the Stone Age guitarist/singer Josh Homme.

Them Crooked Vultures (I just like looking at that weird band name) is slated to make its public debut at the afterparty for Lollapalooza Sunday, August 9 in Chicago.

The aftershow concert is scheduled for a midnight start time after a full day's lineup, and tickets are to go on sale Thursday morning, August 6, exclusively online.

The appearance was officially confirmed when an e-mail from themcrookedvultures.com, the band's official site, linked to the official ticketing page. An image in that e-mail also contained the same three symbols -- the Foo Fighters symbol, the John Paul Jones symbol and the Queens of the Stone Age symbol (pictured above) -- that bloggers had earlier noticed were together on by an unnamed act.

Also this morning, the listing of aftershows at the Lollapalooza festival's official Web site and the venue site also began listing ticketing information for an unnamed act but identified only by those same three symbols.
