Holidays at the Theme Parks

There are so many wonderful holiday happenings here in Orlando! All of the theme parks have events going on to celebrate the holiday season. The holiday fun never ends!

Walt Disney World

Magic Kingdom

Christmas at Magic Kingdom®
Dates: November 28th, 2009 - January 04, 2010

--Get a full dose of holiday cheer by strolling along Main Street, U.S.A. , where Disney elves have decked the halls with towering Christmas trees, colorful lights, bows and garland. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, toy soldiers, and giant gingerbread men greet guests during special daytime runs of "Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade."

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Dates: November 10th - December 18th

--Join Mickey and other Disney characters in their holiday best for the famous Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Enjoy meet-and-greets with characters, festive live stage shows, and the nighttime spectacular "Holiday Wishes--Celebrate the Spirit of the Season," a winter wonderland of dazzling fireworks set to classic holiday tunes. Of course, no holiday celebration would be complete without snow -- even in Florida, where the weather outside is hardly frightful. At Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, there is a 100 percent chance of flurries on Main Street, U.S.A each party night!

Hollywood Studios

Christmas at Disney's Hollywood Studios®
Dates: November 10th, 2009 - January 4th, 2010

--The Streets of America backlot area sparkles with millions of twinkling lights as Disney's Hollywood Studios once again hosts the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. Every 15 minutes all of the displays will glow and dim to holiday tunes as the lights dance to the music. As always, "Florida snow" is in the forecast making this the perfect Christmas setting. Be sure to look in the windows. See if you spot the infamous mannequin leg lamp from "A Christmas Story"!

Epcot

Holidays Around the World at Epcot®
Dates: November 27th - December 30th

--Epcot’s® World Showcase is home to international holiday lore and legends during the Holidays Around the World celebration. You can not only meet Santa Claus in the American Adventure showcase, but you also have the opportunity to hear storytellers detail the adventures of Père Noël in France, La Befana in Italy and other legends from around the world. Kwanzaa and Hanukkah holidays are also observed.

Candlelight Processional at Epcot®
Dates: November 27th - December 30th

As part of Holidays Around the World, Epcot® presents a longtime Disney holiday tradition -- Candlelight Processional. The extremely popular nightly spectacle treats guests to a grand musical performance by a mass choir and 50-piece orchestra who are joined by celebrity narrators in retelling of the beloved story of Christmas.

Animal Kingdom

Christmas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom®
Dates: November 27th, 2009 - January 3rd, 2010

--Jolly jingle will fill the jungle as Disney's Animal Kingdom® is spiritedly transformed for the holiday season. Join Mickey and his Savannah friends as they as they celebrate the season safari style with Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade operating daily!

Universal Studios

MACY'S Holiday Parade at Universal Studios
Dates: December 5th, 2009 - January 1st, 2010

--The world's most famous parade has become a holiday experience for park guests at Universal Studios®, featuring some of the most popular balloons and floats from the famous MACY'S Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Grinchmas at Islands of Adventure
Dates: December 5th, 2009 - January 1st, 2010

--This hilarious and heart-warming live show stars The Grinch™ himself and features music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller, along with a whole town full of singing and dancing Whos as Islands of Adventure's Seuss Landing™ is once again transformed into the wintry wonderland of Grinchmas™… featuring our incredibly popular live musical performance of “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” Then stroll around the Whoville Wonky Tree Lot and take in the whimsical Wholiday decorations.

Sea World

The Polar Express Experience
Dates: November 13th, 2009 - January 3rd , 2010

--The Polar Express Experience is based on the film from Warner Bros. Pictures and Shangri-La Entertainment, inspired by the beloved Caldecott Medal children's book by Chris Van Allsburg. Recreating classic scenes from the movie in a multi-sensory experience, The Polar Express Experience immerses guests with lighting, scent, sound and motion to transport them to the North Pole ... and into the spirit of the season.

Makahiki Christmas Luau
Dates: November 13th, 2009 - January 3rd, 2010

--As the sun sets over the harbor, the Seafire Inn celebrates the Christmas season Hawaiian style with the Makahiki Christmas Luau. Enjoy the festive celebration of authentic Christmas music, costumes and dances including a special rendition of "O Holy Night".
